TONIGHT: legendary playwright Frank Gagliano takes us back to off-Broadway circa 1960 with tales of his time with Edward Albee, John Guare, and the group of writers that revitalized American drama. ALSO – Frank shares his thoughts on Pittsburgh as an incubator for new dramatic works. All this PLUS Eartha Kitt, too! Hear the genesis of his musical FROM THE BODONI COUNTY SONGBOOK ANTHOLOGY – A MUSICAL REVUE (OF SORTS), which will receive a concert reading presented by MTAP (Musical Theater Artists of Pittsburgh) on Monday, April 24th at 7:30pm at Carnegie Stage. The performance is free to attend.
